Wow! What can I say. I've dabbled with GE since it's release, but never really got into the "meat" of the application I'll say. Sure, I've looked at my house to see landscaping jobs, at various athletic facilities, but nothing as intense, albeit minor, as what the lesson plan led me into. Having read stories of the Corn Palace, it was neat to see it in a way that brought it to light. I just wish there was a way to the detail of the corn cob mosaics that are re-cobbed yearly. I never knew that you could take a flyover, if you will, of your trip. As one of my fellow classmates said, it is almost like Google Maps should be labeled GE Lite. I have always wanted to see the 4th of July fireworks over Mount Rushmore and now I have a good idea of what it will look like.
Now that I know a little about the process, maybe I can convince my Director to let me spend some time and get the Stone Tower as a 3D building.
